Description
Regular carbon filters are supposed to be changed every 2-3 months. In regular usage, Long Life Carbon Filter for Horizon requires an annual "recharge" to maintain optimal performance. This involves heating it in the oven at 350°F for 60 minutes to eliminate accumulated moisture and deactivate accumulated odors. This rejuvenation process can be iterated up to twice over the filter's approximate three-year lifespan. Beyond these recharge cycles, it is advisable to replace the filter.
IMPORTANT: This filter is compatible with Horizon Series hoods only.
