Best Luxury Range Hood Brands for a Modern Kitchen
For a modern luxury kitchen in the US, the hoods we specify most often are Viale, Skylight, Lombardy, and Splash when you can duct outside, and Horizon or Arena with Air Loop when you cannot.
When designing a luxury kitchen, few appliances have as much visual impact as the range hood. While ventilation performance remains the primary purpose, today’s luxury range hoods are also architectural design elements that help define the overall aesthetic of the space.Among premium kitchen ventilation manufacturers, Futuro Futuro stands out for its Italian craftsmanship, advanced engineering, and extensive selection of designer range hoods. With hundreds of models available, homeowners can choose from wall-mounted, island, ceiling-mounted, built-in, and ductless designs to match virtually any kitchen layout. While ductless range hoods have become increasingly popular for challenging installations, ducted range hoods generally provide the highest level of ventilation performance and remain the preferred choice whenever ducting is possible. For that reason, most luxury kitchen designers recommend ducted systems first, with advanced ductless solutions reserved for situations where exterior venting is impractical.
