Sci-Fi Kitchen With Striking Choice of Colors and Materials, “Lombardy” Glass Range Hood

This futuristic “Parametrix Kitchen” by Russia-based design firm Geometrix was specially designed for a family in Moscow. With an extravagant modern design, unusual lighting, and advanced materials, the Parametrix Kitchen is a unique sight.

Clean lines contrasting with unusual twists, materials palette that ranges from brick to wood strips to tempered glass accents, and creative lighting, all combine to present an “out-of-this-world” look that evokes the bold visions of science-fiction films.

Glossy composites and neon lighting, warm wood and organic curves, seamlessly integrate into an overall design that is futuristic and comfortable at the same time. By throwing tradition out the window, and re-imagining the kitchen space from the ground up, Geometrix came up with a look that’s unique and sensible.

The cooking area features the Futuro Futuro “Lombardy” series designer range hood.
