24″ Arena Copper Island Range Hood in Altadena, CA
A Warm Copper Statement in a Charming Kitchen with a Sloped Ceiling
Some kitchens have architectural details that make them unforgettable. In this inviting kitchen, high sloped ceilings and exposed wood beams create a sense of openness and character, while soft aqua cabinetry, patterned tile, and warm natural accents give the room a relaxed, collected feel.
For this customer, choosing the right hood was about more than ventilation. It was about finding a design that could work beautifully with the unique ceiling architecture.
The perfect solution for a sloped ceiling
The customer selected the 24″ Arena Copper Island Range Hood from the Air Loop series by Futuro Futuro, a design particularly well suited to kitchens with challenging ceiling heights and angles.
Unlike a traditional island hood with a rigid chimney, the Arena is suspended from the ceiling with individually adjustable mounting strings. This makes it possible to position the hood correctly beneath a high, sloped, or vaulted ceiling without introducing a bulky chimney structure.
Design meets function
Beyond its appearance, the Arena was a practical choice for this unusual kitchen. The model uses Futuro Futuro’s Air Loop ductless filtration system, making it possible to install a range hood without a conventional exterior duct. Its adjustable suspension system is designed to accommodate different ceiling configurations.
The result is a range hood that is both functional and sculptural, suited to the character of this one-of-a-kind kitchen.
