The Altair series vent hoods feature a powerful yet quiet tangential blower, with some of the lowest noise levels available on the market today. Integrated multi-layer sound-absorbing panel reduces noise and vibration further. The Perimeter Suction Filter System replaces traditional mesh filters with collector slots, presenting a smooth surface that is easy to clean.

Like other Futuro Futuro stainless steel range hoods, the Altair features 4 selectable speeds, ranging from 150 CFM (for light cooking conditions) to the full power of 940 CFM. The Altair's multi-function, illuminated electronic control panel includes convenient features such as 15-minute delayed shut-off, electronic reset, and thermal protection. The filter cleaning reminder feature lets you know when it's time to clean the dishwasher-safe grease filters.
